Biography
Sierra Scodellaro earned her Master of Health Science degree in Medical Genomics from the University of Toronto following her time at Ryerson University, where she received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. Sierra joined SickKids in 2021 as the inaugural Pharmacogenomics Data Analyst working with both the Divisions of Pharmacology & Toxicology and Genome Diagnostics. Her work contributes to optimizing a pharmacogenomics service at SickKids to incorporate precision medicine into daily paediatric clinical care.
Research
Sierra’s primary research goal is to develop a streamlined and validated approach to derive, report and deliver pharmacogenomic data from clinical whole genome sequencing.
