Parking garage entrance

Parking at SickKids

The underground garage entrance (pictured above) is located on Elm Street, which is along the south side of the hospital, just west of the Elizabeth Street and Elm Street intersection.

Construction in the Atrium parking garage

SickKids appreciates your patience and understanding as we make necessary upgrades to the Atrium Parking Garage.

As we transform our hospital campus, parking construction will significantly impact the availability of hospital parking.

Please prepare for delays entering and exiting the Atrium parking garage (the main hospital garage with entrance off Elm Street). Families and visitors should give themselves extra time to park to ensure they are on time for appointments. For everyone's safety, please do not park in the work areas that have been taped off.

We encourage you to check this page ahead of your appointment for parking updates.

Quick Links

Parking is for SickKids patients, families, caregivers and staff only.

The underground garage has a maximum height clearance of 6’1.

Take a ticket upon entry. Pay when exiting with cash or credit card at one of the automated pay stations located in each of the P1 to P4 elevator lobbies.

Please give yourself extra time to park to ensure you are on time for your appointments, especially if you are coming or leaving during morning or afternoon/evening rush hours.

Three electric vehicle charging stations on Level P1 in the Atrium parking garage.

SickKids has three electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, located in the Atrium Parking Garage, Level P1. These parking spots are designated for EVs only and have a four-hour charging limit. There is no extra fee for using the charging stations although parking rates apply.

  • Plug in and charge for up to four hours. As a courtesy to other drivers, your vehicle must be relocated to a place within the Atrium parking garage when the four-hour charge is complete to allow others to use the space.
  • If you are having issues accessing the mobile app, please visit the Parking Office for assistance.
  • For 24/7 assistance with charging issues, please contact FLO directly at 1-888-356-8911.

  • Vehicle must be an EV and actively charging. The EV charging station cannot be used for loading and unloading, temporary parking or as a pick-up or drop-off area.
  • Charging time limit is a maximum of four hours.
  • Spaces cannot be reserved. First come, first served
  • Unauthorized vehicles parked in the EV charging station or failure to comply with parking regulations may result in ticket and/or towing of your vehicle at your expense.
  • SickKids will monitor EV usage and explore further addition of EV charging stations in the future.

The EV charging stations and their installation were supported by Natural Resources Canada and Pollution Probe.

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we are pleased to offer the convenience of EV charging to support patients, families and staff to use environmentally friendly transportation.
