Research

Dr. Saluja’s research interest is in health policy, global health, and health equity. He is interested in understanding health systems and how they can be optimised amongst resource constraints. Currently, he has projects that seek to understand how children move between hospitals to reach surgical care. He hopes to develop systems that allow children to receive the best care possible, while limiting the burden incurred by families and the cost to the health system when children are transferred. He is interested in exploring this in high, middle, and low-income country settings. His research and clinical experiences span several countries, including Australia, Brazil, Uganda, and the United States.
