John Sullivan
Biography
John M. Sullivan, former CEO of Cadillac Fairview, has more than 30 years of real estate experience in acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and development. Cadillac Fairview has $30 billion in assets and is one of the largest owners, operators and developers of best-in-class office, retail and mixed-use properties in North America. The company also invests in retail, mixed-use and industrial real estate in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
Before joining Cadillac Fairview, Sullivan built an impressive career in the real estate industry holding senior positions with a number of high-profile companies such as Marathon Realty Company Limited and Brookfield Properties Corporation, where he was responsible for all asset management, acquisitions and dispositions for Canadian assets. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Concordia University, a Master of Business Administration degree from McGill University and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He also sits on the boards of Multiplan Empreendimentos Imobiliarios (Brazil) and MAF Properties (Middle East).
Sullivan joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2016.
