Biography

Dr. Adam Mosa received his medical degree from Queen’s University School of Medicine. He then completed Plastic Surgery residency training at the University of Toronto. During his residency, he was recognized with numerous teaching awards at hospital, university and national levels. Mosa then pursued fellowship training in hand and microsurgery at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Prior to medical school he obtained his M.Sc. degree in neuroscience at the University of Toronto.

Mosa has clinical interests in paediatric hand surgery, peripheral nerve,
brachial plexus birth injury, trauma, congenital limb differences,
microsurgical reconstruction and facial reanimation. 

Research

Mosa's research program currently focuses on the incorporation of point of care musculoskeletal ultrasound in paediatric plastic surgery and applications of ultrasound for monitoring nerve regeneration following injury and repair. He is also working towards establising a congenital hand surgery registry at SickKids.
