Young Lee
Biography
With over 20 years of health industry experience, Young Lee is a visionary and collaborative health care executive who brings a wealth of knowledge in business transformation, finance, digital health, strategy and operations. Over the course of his career, Lee has worked nationally with system leaders, clinicians, patients and communities across the health ecosystem including government. In addition, he has engaged with regional leadership bodies, provincial agencies and health service providers across the continuum of care to advance their strategic and operational transformation objectives.
Lee joins SickKids from North York General Hospital where he has been serving as the Vice President – Corporate Performance, Digital Health Innovation and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining North York General Hospital, he was a senior executive at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener where he led a number of comprehensive clinical and corporate transformation initiatives. Before joining the hospital sector, Lee worked for almost 15 years in management consulting where he completed over 100 client engagements across Canada to assist clients in addressing their strategic and operational priorities.
Lee is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from York University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. He is currently Board Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for the Dorothy Ley Hospice Centre and has served on the Board of the Children’s Bridge International Adoption Agency. He resides in Mississauga with his wife and two children.
