Julie Johnstone
Biography
Dr. Julie Johnstone completed medical school at the University of Western Ontario in 2007 and honoured as the class Valedictorian. She completed post-graduate training as Co-Chief Resident at the University of Toronto in 2011. In 2015, she completed her fellowship in Academic General Paediatrics with an MScCH degree in Health Practitioner Education. She is currently appointed as a Staff Paediatrician at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) with a special focus on feeding and growth issues in the context of medical complexity. She engages in quality improvement work to support weaning off enteral feeding tubes.
Dr. Johnstone is the Director of Assessment and Special Projects for the Core Paediatric Residency Training Program at SickKids and the Interim Program Director for the Division of Paediatric Medicine Fellowship Program.
