Sarah Cohen-Gogo
Biography
Dr. Sarah Cohen-Gogo is part of the Haematology/Oncology New Agents and Innovative Therapies Program. She holds a PhD in cancer genetics and is a scientist within the Genetics & Genome Biology group at the SickKids Research Institute. Her main research interest is in leveraging genomic knowledge to inform precision trials in high-risk solid cancers, with a particular focus on neuroblastoma and sarcoma.
In Dr. Cohen-Gogo’s Transition Clinician-Scientist role at SickKids, she is a co-investigator for more than 10 early phase clinical trials aimed at paediatric patients with hard-to-treat solid tumours. She is also a qualified investigator for our precision oncology program – SickKids’ Cancer Sequencing Program (KiCS), a member of the C17-Developmental Therapeutics Committee and of the pan-Canadian PRecision Oncology For Young peopLE (PROFYLE) Therapeutics Node and Molecular Tumour Board Committee.
