Biography

Dr. Nirit Bernhard is a general paediatrician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. She holds a Hon B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Toronto and completed her Medical Doctor degree from Western University in 2003. She completed post-graduate training, as well as a year of Chief Residency with the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto, in 2008. She graduated from the Education Scholars Program at the Centre for Faculty Development. She is recognized for her clinical work in the Down Syndrome Clinic at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).
