Biography
Dr. Iwona Baran is a Paediatric Emergency Medicine physician who joined The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in September 2014. She has been actively involved in health-care education, acting as the Program Director for the Paediatric Emergency Medicine training program at SickKids since 2015. Baran completed the Education Scholars Program at the Centre for Faculty Development and a Masters in Community Healthy - Health Practitioner Education at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She is involved in curriculum design and evaluation, course development, and faculty development.
Research
Baran's research is centered on health professions education and climate change and child health.
