Biography
Dr. Al-Saleh is a paediatric respirologist and paediatric sleep medicine staff physician at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Between 2013 and 2018, he was the Quality Advisor in the Sleep Lab and Sleep Clinic where he is the lead physician for technical and quality improvements, including Sleep Lab data management upgrade, Sleep Lab expansion and Sleep Lab Epic implementation. He also works in the SickKids Research Institute in several clinical research projects. Between 2014 and 2018, he was the program director for the Paediatric Sleep Fellowship and education program in the Division of Respiratory Medicine.
Research interests
Dr. Al-Saleh's research interests relate to sleep medicine, ranging from epidemiology, diagnosis and management of sleep-disordered breathing in paediatric populations. The two main areas in which he is currently involved are sleep-disordered breathing in children with primary diagnosis and complex chronic diseases, and screening and diagnostic tools for sleep-disordered breathing in children.
