Updated statement on social media activity

SickKids acknowledges that recent social media activity related to the war in Israel and Gaza is causing immense grief and concern in the community. 

We strongly believe that any forms of racism are completely unacceptable, will not be tolerated and will be investigated as per SickKids' Code of Conduct.

As such, we continue to investigate the complaints about a social media post involving one of our physicians. He is currently on a voluntary paid administrative leave while the investigation is being completed. 

All who come to SickKids are entitled to be treated with respect, professionalism and feel safe.
