Summary:

SickKids is proud to be named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc. for the sixth straight year.

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is proud to be named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc. for the sixth straight year!

"I am delighted to see SickKids recognized once again as a top employer in Canada,” says Dr. Ronald Cohn, President and CEO. “It’s been a challenging year but also a tremendous one for our organization as we continue our vital work while caring for patients, and one another, in the face of this pandemic. I send my sincerest thanks to all SickKids staff for their commitment and dedication to care, research and learning every single day."

Susan O'Dowd, Vice-President, Human Resources and Commercial Services, said: “We are proud to be recognized as a top employer in Canada, but we’re even prouder of the wonderful people who work at SickKids.”

She continued: “This has been a year unlike any other and SickKids staff have stepped up and gone above and beyond in the most challenging of environments. They have continued to provide excellent care to our patients and families, maintain focus on important research and educational efforts, and perform essential support functions. What has been incredible to see is how everyone has continued their important work while also doing their best to look after each other in the midst of the pandemic. That’s really what makes SickKids such a great place to work… our culture and our people.”
