Gynaecology Clinic

The Section of Gynaecology within the Division of Endocrinology offers a complete range of services for the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with gynaecologic disorders.

Important pre-appointment instructions: 

Some clinic appointments will require your child undergo an ultrasound before their appointment. Your ultrasound will be scheduled either on the same day or days leading up to the date of the clinic appointment. If you need to reschedule your appointments please contact the Gynaecology Clinic. We will reschedule both appointments for you.   

Your child’s ultrasound will require that they follow special instructions in order to prepare for the test and ensure that the technician can take good pictures. The Ultrasound Department will provide you with these instructions prior to your ultrasound appointment. If you need to contact the Ultrasound Department you can reach them at 416-813-6082. 

Directions: 

The first thing to do is register at the Gynaecology Clinic, located in Room 7424 of the Black Wing. From the University Avenue entrance, take the Black Wing elevators (located across from Shoppers Drug Mart) to the 7th floor. Walk down the north hallway on the west side of the elevators to clinic. 

From the Elizabeth Street entrance and parking garage elevators, walk down Main Street towards Shoppers Drug Mart. Take the Black Wing elevators (located across from Shoppers Drug Mart) to the 7th floor. Walk down the north hallway on the west side of the elevators to clinic. 

As a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto, SickKids trains doctors, nurses and other health-care professionals. As a result, your child and family may see multiple care givers in one appointment. If your child is seen by someone in training they will speak to their supervisor about your child before making any decisions about care.
