What we do
The Section of Gynaecology within the Division of Endocrinology offers a complete range of services for the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with gynaecologic disorders including:
- Abnormal Puberty
- Adolescent Sexual Health, Contraception & Adolescent Pregnancy
- Chronic Annovulation
- Disorders of the Vulva, Vagina and Cervix
- Fertility Preservation
- Foreign Body (Vaginal)
- Genital Mutilation
- Genital Trauma
- Gynaecological Congenital Anomalies
- Menstrual Disorders
- Pelvic Masses
- Pelvic Pain
- Reproductive Endocrinology
- Suspected Sexual Abuse
Our team consists of six part-time gynaecologists, a gynaecology nurse, dietitian, and a social worker.
Education and learning
Fellowship program
The Section of Gynaecology offers a one-year funded fellowship in the clinical area of expertise of Pediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology. Candidates must be board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or equivalent). Application deadline for the 2023-2024 academic year is now closed. If you are interested in applying for a fellowship for the 2024-2025 academic year, the application deadline is July 1, 2023.

Elective program
University of Toronto students, residents and fellows may participate in electives throughout the year. As well, national, international, undergraduate and graduate partners are encouraged to apply.
