Knowledge Synthesis, Translation and Advocacy

At the Centre, we recognize that our work must go beyond scholarly investigation and education to impactful implementation and policy. With this in mind, numerous Centre initiatives, partnerships and networks are focused on the translation and management of knowledge that will have direct and indirect impacts in specific areas of reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH).

Advocacy and partnerships

Many members of the Centre are actively engaged in global networks and partnerships. The Centre currently hosts three global networks: The Coalition of Centres in Global Child Health (The Coalition), the Global Sickle Cell Disease Network (GSCDN), and NCD Child. Collaborating with other global child health practitioners, universities, NGOs and UN agencies enhances the Centre’s role of helping to improve the lives of children and their families globally is enhanced.

Evidence and policy
