Dr. Shawna Silver received her BA.Sc. in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo and MD from McMaster University. She completed her paediatric residency at The Hospital for Sick Children. She is currently a hospitalist at The Hospital for Sick Children and North York General Hospital.

Clinical areas of focus include inpatient hospital medicine and children with medical complexity. Other areas of interest include clinical informatics and patient safety. She is also involved in family and patient education.
