Biography

Kate Langrish is the Executive Clinical Director for Medicine Programs, Solid Organ Transplant and Connected Care at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

Kate is proud to be a SickKids nurse. She began her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a surgical inpatient unit at SickKids, and subsequently progressed through roles as a staff RN and Clinical Support Nurse in the Emergency Department, while concurrently working part time as a Clinical Educator in Paediatrics and Neonatology at Toronto East General Hospital (now Michael Garron Hospital). She later moved into Educator, Senior Clinical Manager and Clinical Director roles in Paediatric Medicine, Complex Care, Patient Access and Transitional Care at SickKids.

Over the course of her career, spanning more than two decades in paediatric clinical practice and leadership, she has acquired a unique blend of clinical, operational and strategic expertise.

In her current role, Kate enjoys leading truly outstanding teams within her diverse portfolio to continually raise the bar in patient access, patient safety, patient/family experience and health systems integration.
