SickKids and Holland Bloorview to offer SDR services in Ontario
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) are pleased to announce the launch of a three-year joint integrated selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) program in Ontario. The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care today announced funding for SDR in the province, which will now offer care close to home.

The Centre for Genetic Medicine: helping patients and families solve genetic mysteries
This year we are celebrating the five year anniversary of the SickKids Centre for Genetic Medicine. Founded in 2012, the Centre was established to bring together the brightest minds in genomics, patient care, education, policy and research with the goal of one day making genomic testing and personalized medicine the standard of care for all patients across the hospital.

SickKids closes $300 million offering to fund major infrastructure transformation project
On Monday, December 4, SickKids priced a $300 million offering of Series B Senior Unsecured Debentures and the transaction will close on Thursday, December 7. This is the largest offering by a Canadian hospital or university in the bond market to date.
