Biography
In 2003, Dr. Tse joined the Rheumatology Division and is currently appointed as Associate Professor. Tse has also been the Program Director for the Pediatric Rheumatology Training Program since July 2007. Tse’s clinical and research interests are focused towards juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile spondyloarthritis and in education (development of innovative methods of teaching pediatric rheumatology). Tse has a specialized juvenile spondyloarthritis clinic at SickKids.
Research
Tse’s research interests are focused on juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile spondyloarthritis (diagnosis, classification, outcomes, radiologic imaging, and treatment) and in education (development of innovative methods of teaching pediatric rheumatology).
Achievements

- 2019: Canadian Rheumatology Association Teacher Educator Award
- 2015: Dafna Gladman Award for Sustained Outstanding Clinical and Educational Contribution in Rheumatology, University of Toronto.
- 2012: Department of Pediatrics POWER Teaching Award, University of Toronto.
