Nicola Keyhan

Dr. Nicola Keyhan, joined SickKids in 2005 as a Staff Psychiatrist. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Her main areas of interest and expertise are in the assessment and treatment of Anxiety Disorders. She also has a strong interest in psychotherapy and runs cognitive behavioural therapy groups for children with Anxiety Disorders and their parents.

Dr. Keyhan is actively involved in the education of medical students, psychiatry residents, and paediatric residents and fellows. She has been nominated for and won several teaching awards. She also holds a number of leadership positions in education and is currently the SickKids Postgraduate and Psychotherapy Site Coordinator for the University of Toronto Psychiatry Residency Program and the Director of Scholarship and Professional Development for the SickKids Psychiatry Department.
