When pain ends, kids can be kids again: Get Up and Go celebrates two years of successful partnership between Holland Bloorview and SickKids

Client Staci, now 15, shared her story on Nov. 9 at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where patients, families, and teams gathered to celebrate the second anniversary of Get Up and Go: Persistent Paediatric Pain Service. The service is a collaboration between Holland Bloorview and SickKids.

Spiritual and Religious Care team supports family with the first Puja Hindu prayer ceremony at SickKids

SickKids receives a special delivery – a new iMRI machine!

The loading dock was a busy place this weekend, as SickKids received a special delivery all the way from Germany. In a very complex procedure that lasted almost 12 hours, a state-of-the-art 3T intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (iMRI) machine was delivered to SickKids.

Helping sick kids have a more positive hospital experience

Hosted by the Child Life Department, the ninth annual Teddy Bear Clinic took place on March 22. Through this special clinic, patients and siblings were given the opportunity to become the health-care professionals and lead their teddy bear friends through what a regular day at the hospital may be like for them.
